For Readers | My Novels

I have completed several novels, plus have a few in the works. All of my novels so far are romances, although I have an idea for a mystery series that keeps pushing its way to the front of my mind.
Many of my characters are attorneys - the old "write what you know" syndrome.
Meanwhile, here is a description of my novels:
Cruising for Love - a romantic comedy about a woman who let a little white lie get out of hand. To ease the worries of her doting grandmother, Beth, a career-minded travel writer invented a husband, Steve the doctor. When she finds out that Grams intends to come along a cruise, Beth needs to come up with a husband in a hurry - preferably a surgeon. She has to settle for a veterinarian, but at least his name really is Steve. Throw in a scheming ex-wife, and gorgeous Alaskan scenery, and this cruise offers a smorgasbord of romantic fun.
Cruising for Love won the 2000 Golden Heart (tm) in Traditional Romance from Romance Writers of America.
A Case for Love - a romantic comedy that puts two divorce attorneys - who used to be married to each other - on opposite sides of a case. The problem is, their clients don't seem to want to get divorced. Uh, oh, it couldn't all be a plot to reunite two soul mates, could it?
A Case for Love was a finalist for the 2000 Golden Heart (tm) in Short Contemporary Romance from Romance Writers of America.
Stand and Deliver - a Regency set historical that pits a fiery tempered aristocratic lady turned highwayman against the Earl who broke her heart. Together, they discover the treachery that led to the murder of one brother, and the exile of another. They also discover that love can heal the deepest of wounds.
Stand and Deliver won first place in the Paul Gillette Writing Competition.
Private Dancer - a sizzling story of passion between a stripper turned attorney, and the lawyer who broke her heart. She's determined to show him what she's made of, and he is all too willing to find out.
Mind Stalker - in this romantic suspense, a young prosecutor is being stalked and threatened. She suspects the hunky new attorney in the office who seems to have an eye on her job. She doesn't know that he's actually an undercover FBI agent, trying to find out why the prosecutors in her office keep losing high profile cases that should send the defendants away for years.
Future Books
The mystery series I have in mind would also feature a lawyer, but with an added twist - the heroine in that story would teach criminal law at a law school (a fictional one, I assure you - no murders happening at my school, thank you very much!). But this professor and I do have something else in common - she also has a basset hound. Hers is named Columbo!
I also am percolating an idea for an inspirational story set at Christmas time. Tentatively titled A Midnight Clear, a major feature of the story is an over the top Christmas lighting display, and the stern young minister who disapproves.
